Alex Joy Nutrition grew from my interest in the therapeutic nature of food, thus leading me to complete a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional & Dietetic Medicine.

How Can I Help

As a clinical nutritionist I provide individuals with the tools, education and skills to feel empowered and have control over their own health. I believe optimal nutrition is the foundation of health and wellness thus a food first approach as a therapy is the basis of practice, paired with holistic treatment.

 

I focus on prevention and management by providing a practical, achievable and effective approach to assist the facilitation of a healthy lifestyle, considering the importance of balance in everyday life.

 

My primary area of interest is treating and preventing stress. ‘Stressed’, is one of the most common answers I hear when simply asking ‘How are you?’. It’s a common feeling paired with our good old friend ‘Busy’. We wouldn’t be human if we didn’t feel a slight bit of stress from what life throws at us but it is a problem when stress and busyness becomes an ongoing problem and a way of life.
